  1. When folding laundry, fold the big stuff first, then underwear, then socks
  2. Sleeping with socks on really helps sometimes
  3. Bidet toilets are seriously awesome
  4. Practicing/getting better usually involves resistance/pain
  5. Be happy for no reason whatsoever
  6. Try to listen 80% of the time with others, talk the other 20%
  7. When shocked or angry, it is better to stay silent for as long as possible
  8. Politics is an intellectual black hole
  9. Learning more instruments builds empathy when playing with other musicians
  10. It’s crazy how quickly your mood can change just by listening to music
  11. The little things really are what matter in all relationships
  12. Read more books, watch less TV
  13. Never eat a large bag of potato chips for lunch

  24. Try something if you’re worried how long it will take, many times it will be faster than you expect
